A Personal Message Dear Friends of STEMS, This page is dedicated to thanking you for your visit. We invite you to e-mail us and visit our site often. The ill and their families and friends, have a right to be heard, to tell their stories and to make a difference in this world. Our world is made up of those, whom must see to believe. Disease is not just a word, it has many faces of wonderful people. All of which, desire and have the right of living healthy lives. Help us in our quest to find the cure for millions waiting and praying everyday. I too, have a story. It starts 21 years ago. My youngest daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of five. In the last few years, she has lost 60 percent of her vision due to this disease. Twenty years ago, I made her a promise of a cure. Today, I'm still trying to keep this promise to her. If you recognize my sorrow, then you too have someone you love with a disease and cannot bare to stand still watching disease destroy him or her with pain, suffering, and even death. I am the founder and president of STEMS. I personally invite you to join us in this effort for the cures. What can you do to save lives? Become political. Stem Cell Research has become a political matter and out of the hands of the medical profession. Select your local and national representatives well. Understand your leader's stand on this issue.
